Victor Shemper was commissioned by the BU Fusion Dance Troupe to develop the visual
identity of the annual Elements Dance Competition: a prestigious show for competitive
and exhibition dance teams across the nation. This included the logo design, social content
and PR design, campus billboard advertisements, and merchandise design.
Victor designed the identity for 2025, 2024, and 2023

A Photographic Approach:
Fusion Dance Troupe approached me with the concept of “An Ode To The Body”. In. collaborationwith photographer Joe Caster, Victor directed the photographic foundations of the entire design system.

Screen Printed Merchandise Design:
The merchandise design had to capture the same feeling of tactility that the rest of the design evoked.
I designed the merch to be screenprinted by hand, making each t-shirt one of a kind.
In collaboration with Anna Jewel Schluterman and Grace Brouillet, we screenprinted 300 T-Shirts
for the event. The merch nearly sold out for the first time in the history of this competition.
